Trump screws his 3-time voter on live TV after she begs for help – then boasts, ‘I think she’d vote for me again’
Washington, D.C. – On Wednesday, President Donald Trump appeared on Fox News’ Special Report with Bret Baier, rejecting a plea from three-time Trump voter Regina Foley, a registered Republican, who urged immediate action on the cost of living, insisting, “We’ve got prices way down,” and claiming energy reductions are driving affordability.
“I do say to [Foley], first of all, I love her, because she voted for me three times, and I think she’d vote for me again if I had that opportunity,” Trump said.
Foley’s message, read on air, warned that without relief, Republicans could lose Congress in 2026, as grocery and utility costs strain “main street” families, amid polls showing Trump’s disapproval at record highs and most Americans blaming him for inflation.
Foley’s Urgent Call and Trump’s Response
Foley wrote, “I want the Republicans to keep control of Congress in 2026, but something has to be done fast. I don’t see the best economy right now. Wall Street numbers do not reflect my main street money. Please do something, President Trump.”
Trump responded, “I do say this. Beef we have to get down… but we’ve got prices way down,” adding, “Energy prices are way down, and energy is so all-encompassing… when energy comes down, everything comes down.”
Trump called “affordability” a “beautiful word” and criticized Republicans for not emphasizing it, saying, “The biggest problem is Republicans don’t talk about it. They don’t talk about the word affordability, and the Democrats lie about it.” He told Foley, “I love her, because she voted for me three times, and I think she’d vote for me again.”
Economic Reality vs. Trump’s Claims
While regular gasoline averages $3.12 per gallon, down 8% from 2024, per AAA, the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory reported electricity prices rising faster than inflation in 26 states over the past six months, with an average 7.2% increase, per The New York Times.
Grocery prices rose 3.8% year-over-year in September, with beef up 9.1%, per BLS. The AP-NORC poll from July found 72% of adults stressed about grocery costs; a Washington Post-ABC News-Ipsos poll in October showed 58% blaming Trump for rising prices, per the outlets.
Trump’s disapproval rating hit 56%, the highest of his presidency, surpassing January 2021 post-Capitol riot levels.
