FBI’s Kash Patel’s Girlfriend Is Accused of Being a ‘Honeypot Mossad Agent’ — Now She’s Talking

Alexis Wilkins, the 27-year-old conservative pundit, country singer, and girlfriend of FBI Director Kash Patel, has forcefully denied the allegations claiming she is an Israeli Mossad agent running a “honey trap” operation to compromise the nation’s top law enforcement official.

In a wide-ranging interview with Vanity Fair, Wilkins described the allegations as “widespread character assassination” and “insane,” while acknowledging the surreal and sometimes frightening reality of being in a high-profile relationship with one of the most powerful and polarizing figures in the Trump administration.

The theories — which have circulated widely in far-right and conspiratorial online spaces appear to stem from Wilkins’s past association with PragerU, whose CEO Marissa Streit has claimed prior service in Israeli military intelligence. Some online posters have speculated that Wilkins is Streit in disguise or part of a coordinated foreign intelligence operation targeting Patel.

Wilkins dismissed the claims with visible exasperation: “They’re like, ‘Well, Marissa must have just gotten surgery to look like someone else, and this is now Alexis, and they placed her with Kash,’” she told Vanity Fair. “It’s just very confusing to me. That was a theory that was more widespread than I was comfortable with it being because that’s insane. How are this many people thinking this is true?”

She added: “I’ve never been to Israel. There’s not a stamp in my passport.”

Wilkins also addressed the accusation that she is manipulating Patel: “It’s accusing me of manipulating the person that I’m with, that I love. You know, that’s a horrible accusation.” When asked directly by Megyn Kelly on SiriusXM last July whether she was working for a foreign government, Wilkins laughed and gave a firm “Definitely not.”

Wilkins and Patel, 45, have been open about their relationship, including a joint appearance on Katie Miller’s podcast in mid-December 2025 — an episode that drew criticism for its timing during an active FBI manhunt following the Charlie Kirk shooting.

The couple has described their story as a “love story” in conservative media circles, but it has also attracted intense scrutiny from both critics and some within the MAGA ecosystem.

Laura Loomer and other far-right figures have questioned the optics of Patel’s personal life amid his leadership of the FBI, while others have used the relationship to fuel broader conspiracy narratives about foreign influence within the administration.

Wilkins told Vanity Fair the attacks often feel like indirect assaults on Patel: “I think it’s sad that people have figured out that they can try to use me to get to him in the press. I don’t have a lot of skeletons in my closet. I’m not someone who hopes that something doesn’t come out.”

She also addressed the practical realities of dating the FBI director: a security detail, constant threats (including a recent arrest of someone who threatened to execute her), and the challenge of maintaining normalcy.

“We had a beautiful Christmas with family, which was wonderful and normal and good to make some normal, great family memories,” she said. “Then someone got arrested for threatening to execute me. It’s scary. There’s no point at which you get used to that or that it feels good.”

Looking At Wilkins’s Background

Wilkins grew up in the U.K., Switzerland, and Arkansas, and has built a career as a conservative commentator and country music artist. She has been open about her support for Trump and conservative causes, including past promotion of election fraud claims, skepticism about COVID-19 measures, and criticism of U.S. policy on Ukraine.

When Vanity Fair suggested her own history of promoting misinformation might contribute to the climate of conspiracy theories she now finds herself targeted by, Wilkins pushed back: “I don’t think it’s a straight line back to Trump or his ascent or his presidency. I think that we have arrived at a unique time in politics where people have so much information, they can look up anything.”

The conspiracy theories targeting Wilkins occur against the backdrop of Kash Patel’s turbulent first year as FBI director.

Critics — including a 115-page report from a national alliance of current and former FBI agents have described Patel as “in over his head,” leading a “chronically under-performing” agency plagued by fear, low morale and high-profile missteps.

Patel has faced ridicule for incidents including wearing an ill-fitting FBI raid jacket during a public appearance, prematurely announcing progress on a manhunt and multiple gaffes and public relations disasters.

The relationship with Wilkins and the resulting online speculation has only added to perceptions of a rudderless FBI under his leadership.

Actions Taken By Wilkins

Wilkins has already filed lawsuits against three right-wing influencers who promoted the Mossad theory. She has expressed frustration at being reduced to a pawn in political attacks: “I’m not doing a job that warrants it… It was determined — outside of Kash and I, agents who are experts at this stuff that [a security detail] was necessary. And so here we are.”

The Vanity Fair interview is one of the most extensive public discussions of the relationship to date, offering a rare personal perspective from someone closely tied to one of the most powerful and scrutinized figures in the Trump administration.

The conspiracy theories surrounding his girlfriend are likely to persist in fringe circles as Patel continues to navigate controversy at the FBI and the administration faces mounting pressure on multiple fronts. For Wilkins, the challenge is clear: living in the public eye while being targeted by claims that reduce her to a caricature.

She remains defiant: “I don’t have a lot of skeletons in my closet.” But in today’s polarized information environment, even a clean record may not be enough to escape the crossfire of conspiracy and political warfare.
