Voyeur caught hiding under vehicles at car wash to stare at women’s feet: Police
A 28-year-old man from Arizona, Jesse Michael Johnson, has been arrested again after allegedly hiding under women’s vehicles at a car wash to stare at their feet.
Johnson, who has a history of similar offenses, faces charges of voyeurism and disorderly conduct, according to authorities.
The incidents took place at a Super Star Car Wash near Riggs Road and Val Vista Drive in Gilbert, Arizona. In each case, women were vacuuming their SUVs when Johnson parked next to them, crawled under their vehicles, and remained there for several minutes.
Surveillance footage captured Johnson in the act. He only emerged from under the vehicles once the women had nearly finished vacuuming, then casually returned to his car, pretending to clean one of his tires before driving off.
One of the victims, Chanelle, said she was in shock when she realized someone was hiding under her car. “At one point, you can see his head pop out on the driver’s side, looking up at me,” she said.
Chanelle also mentioned that all the women involved were wearing flip-flops and shorts, suggesting a pattern to Johnson’s actions. The incident has left her traumatized and experiencing nightmares.
This is not Johnson’s first offense. In 2016, at the age of 20, he was cited in Nebraska for hiding under a woman’s car to touch her feet.
At that time, Johnson admitted to being “sexually attracted to women’s feet” and claimed he could not control his impulses. Authorities said this was the fourth time that year he had been cited for similar behavior.
