Man goes beast mode on his neighbor over presumed sexual relationship with his mother

Keystone State police apprehended a Pennsylvania man after he launched a brutal attack on his neighbor, driven by the belief that the neighbor had engaged in a sexual relationship with his mother.

19-year-old Harry Rugg II faces multiple charges, including aggravated assault, simple assault, making terroristic threats, harassment and disorderly conduct, based on records from the Somerset County court.

The exact nature of the relationship between the victim and Rugg’s mother remains unclear.

The incident occurred late Sunday night when Pennsylvania State Police were dispatched to a residence on Whites Creek Road in Addison Township, a small community within the Johnstown metropolitan area.

Responding to reports of a physical altercation between two men, police arrived to find Rugg admitting that he had gone to his neighbor’s house because he believed the neighbor was sexually involved with his mother.

The victim was covered in blood when authorities arrived at the scene.

According to a criminal complaint, Rugg confessed that his rage led him to target his neighbor’s 2004 Chevrolet Corvette. The neighbor, upon discovering the extensive damage to his vehicle, confronted Rugg. “You tried to f— my mom,” Rugg shouted before leaping off the car and attacking the man. “I’m going to kill you.”

During the assault, Rugg bit off a piece of the victim’s ear, punched him repeatedly in the face and body, knocking out four or five of his teeth. Police say Rugg also attempted to bite off three of the victim’s fingers but was unsuccessful. However, he did manage to tear flesh from the victim’s arm with his teeth.

Due to the severity of his injuries, the victim was initially treated at Somerset Hospital before being referred to specialists for further care.
