Epstein’s Brother Drops Another Bombshell – ‘Jeffrey Definitely Had Dirt on Trump’

New York, NY – Mark Epstein, the brother of the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, made explosive accusations Thursday on CNN’s Erin Burnett OutFront, claiming President Donald Trump deliberately delayed supporting the release of his brother’s investigative files because “there’s things in there he doesn’t want people to see.”

The comments, made amid a bipartisan congressional push to force full disclosure by December 18, have reignited the long-simmering controversy over Trump’s past friendship with Epstein, the financier who died by suicide in 2019 while awaiting trial on federal sex-trafficking charges.

Mark Epstein, 70, told host Erin Burnett: “Well, I think it’s an obvious question, not just for me. It’s just there’s things in there he doesn’t want people to see. I mean, that… seems to be obvious.”

He added that Trump and his brother were “very good friends” who flew together on private planes, urging investigators to check Trump’s flight logs: “They say Donald was on Jeff’s plane like seven times, but I question, have they checked Donald’s flight logs from those days to see how many times Jeffrey was on his plane? I know Jeffrey told me on a number of occasions that he flew up or flew down with Donald. And Donald was in Jeffrey’s office quite a bit back in the 90s. They were good friends, everybody around knew that.”

Epstein further alleged Trump called his brother after the 2016 election, “Jeffrey told me that it was after the election, Trump called him and it was sort of like ‘Can you believe this?’ Because nobody believed Trump was going to win. Trump was sort of surprised himself that he won.”

White House spokesperson Abigail Jackson fired back in a statement

“Instead of amplifying baseless claims, the media should start asking real questions: why was Democrat Stacey Plaskett live texting Epstein in 2019 during a congressional hearing after he was a convicted sex offender and why did she accept thousands of dollars from him? Why was Hakeem Jeffries soliciting money and dinner from Epstein after he was a convicted sex offender? Why did President Bill Clinton travel on Epstein’s plane 26 times? And why did one of Epstein’s victims write that she saw Clinton on Epstein’s island with two young women?”

Jackson added, “These are just some of the many questions that the American people deserve to have answered.”

Plaskett defended her 2019 texts to CNN: “I believed that Jeffrey Epstein had information and was going to get information to get at the truth. Having a friendship with him is not something that I would deem to have.”

House Minority Leader Jeffries shrugged off a 2013 Epstein fundraising email in a CNN interview, “I have no recollection of the email. I’ve never had a conversation with him, never met him, know nothing about him other than the extreme things that he’s been convicted of doing.”

Clinton’s spokesperson has maintained for years that the former president was unaware of Epstein’s crimes. A newly released email from Epstein’s personal address stated that, “Clinton was never on the island.”

Mark Epstein’s November 18, NewsNation interview alleged a source claimed Republicans’ names are being “scrubbed” from the files: “I’ve been recently told, the reason they’re going to be releasing the files and the reason for the flip is that they’re sabotaging these files… They’re scrubbing the files to take Republican names out. That’s what I was told, by a pretty good source.”

He also claimed Epstein had 2016 dirt on Trump “incriminating enough to cancel the election.” “He didn’t tell me what he knew, but Jeffrey definitely had dirt on Trump.”

Epstein’s Crimes and File Release Pressure

Epstein was arrested in July 2019 and charged with one count of sex trafficking of minors and one count of conspiracy to engage in sex trafficking of minors. He pleaded not guilty but died by suicide while inside his jail cell in New York City’s Metropolitan Correctional Center in August 2019.

The files, a cache of documents related to Epstein’s criminal cases, have been the subject of intense congressional pressure. The House voted 427–1 on November 18 to mandate full DOJ release by December 18, with the Senate unanimously consenting the same day. The bill allows redactions only for victim privacy or active investigations, not “embarrassment or political sensitivity.”

Trump initially called the files a “Democrat hoax” on July 28, but endorsed release November 16 after Massie predicted over 100 GOP votes.
