Man Charged With ‘Execution-style’ Killing of Texas College Student Always Prowled Sugar Daddy Websites

A man charged with the “execution-style” killing of a Texas college student has a history of prowling sugar daddy dating websites in search of young women, according to authorities.

51-year-old Bobby Singh Shah was charged with capital murder on Thursday for the death of 21-year-old Muna Pandey, a community college student originally from Nepal.

Pandey was discovered with a gunshot wound to the back of her head inside her apartment in southwest Houston on Monday.

According to court documents, a female tipster informed the police that she had previously encountered Shah on a dating website designed to connect wealthy older men with much younger women.

Pandey, who lived alone, had installed a surveillance camera outside her front door after experiencing harassment from a stalker, her friends told Houston police. The footage from this camera captured images of Shah entering and leaving her apartment the day before her body was found.

In the recorded footage, Pandey is reportedly heard questioning a man who was holding a gun, asking, “What are you going to do?” The suspect is then seen racking the gun and forcing her into the apartment around 8:41 p.m. Shah was seen leaving the apartment approximately an hour later, carrying Pandey’s black purse.

Houston police released the footage of the suspect in an attempt to identify him. A woman who viewed the footage contacted the police, stating that she immediately recognized Shah, whom she had met on a “sugar daddy” website 12 years prior.
