Achraf Hakimi’s ex-wife Hiba Abouk was shocked when she was told by a court on Thursday that her ex-husband has nothing to his name after she tried to take half of his fortune.
Abouk filed for divorce in the hope of getting half of the Paris Saint-Germain star’s fortune, worth over $17 million. However, there was no joy as Abouk, who had been married to Hakimi for 3 years learned that his ex-husband has nothing to his name.
The Paris Saint-Germain player is the sixth highest-paid African footballer, earning more than $215,000 per week and his net worth is reportedly $17 million, according to a report by Morocco World News.
Abouk, who has two children with Hakimi asked for half of his assets and fortune when filing for divorce, however, she was informed that Hakimi has nothing in his name and that everything he has is in his mother’s name, Spanish daily Marca reported on Thursday.
Sadia Mouth, Achraf Hakimi’s mother is also the beneficiary of his salary.
Abouk is a Spanish model and actress who has starred in many television series in Spain. She gained recognition for her role in the Spanish crime drama El Principe and her assets are reportedly worth over $3 million.
As it stands now, Hakimi will get half of her assets as both parties agreed to share their fortunes, while she gets nothing because legally, Hakimi has no dime to his name.

In February, a 24-year-old woman accused Hakimi of rape which led the police to open an investigation into the case even though the alleged victim told them that she only wanted to “make a statement of rape,” without filing an official complaint.
Last month, Abouk broke her silence for the first time on the rape allegations against Hakimi and said she would always stand by the side of victims, adding that she wants nothing to do with him anymore.
Hakimi who has been trending on several social media platforms for his “foresight” and “smart move” has returned to training in preparation to face Lens on Saturday.
