Warner Bros. has just announced that “Beetlejuice 2” will be released on September 6, 2024, alongside Marvel’s “Blade” starring Mahershala Ali. This sequel follows the original 1988 film that featured Michael Keaton as the iconic poltergeist, Beetlejuice and Winona Ryder as Lydia Deetz.
The upcoming movie will see the return of both actors, with Jenna Ortega, the star of the upcoming “Wednesday” series joining the cast as the daughter of Ryder’s character. Justin Theroux is also set to appear in an undisclosed role. Production for the movie is set to begin in London on May 10 and Brad Pitt’s Plan B will be producing the film.
